A spectacular cultivar of upright Japanese maple with great, deep, salmon - red colour of the winter shoots which makes it similar to a very popular  'Sango kaku'. The early spring foliage is rich green and mature to mid green in the summer and warm up to attractive golden - yellow in the autumn.
