A lovely Japanese maple, especially for the spring interest in the garden when the leaves are brilliant scarlet red in colour. They change to brick red and medium green in the summer. The autumn colour is red with orange and yellow. The tree open, upright habit. The small leaves and its form make it a good choice for the container or bonsai.
